External Popups

Create external popups to embed on any other external CMS. Click Create New Project and select Popup and Alert. It creates a new popup for us, this one called popup number 2. I will just call it external demo. And then we go ahead and edit the popup. This is going to work exactly how you would build out a popup within the builder. Start building your popup, and I'll just click one of these pre-made blocks. The difference between the external popups and the internal popups, and you go all the way to the left, you will see under display conditions only triggers. You can set up the triggers like on click, on page extend, or on scroll. And let's put this to around 30% of the page. And then you can also say to trigger pop-up only once and save it. Remember to go to the bottom right corner and select Publish. Let's exit back to the dashboard. And now to embed this on on any other website, click on Embed Code, and then simply select Copy Code. Whether you are using Squarespace, Wix, or WordPress, in many cases, you will find areas for code injection that's in the header or footer.

For the pop-up Embed Code, you have to add it to the footer, and that can be done on a page-by-page or site basis, depending on which CMS you are using. This is a great way to also extend the functionality of other sites that you already may have with the external popup builder.
